Job Summary
The Department of Ophthalmology at Queen’s University is seeking an Academic Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgeon. The successful incumbent will be expected to have a busy oculoplastic/orbital practice, performing a wide range of adult and pediatric orbital, lacrimal, and eye lid surgeries. Participation in the urgent red eye clinic is also expected. All members of the department participate in teaching (medical school and postgraduate
level), administrative work, and research commiserate with their job description defined annually with the department head. Members of the Department of Ophthalmology enjoy a competitive compensation package, funded through an alternate funding plan (AFP). Academic rank with be commensurate with experience.
