Starting date September 2021 but negotiable for earlier or later date.  Includes 1 full OR day per week with opportunity for extra time at hospital or ambulatory surgical centre.  Office contains OCT/fundus camera, visual fields, topographer, IOL master and argon laser/SLT.  On call responsibility 1 in 5. OPHTHALMOLOGIST – Medical and Surgical Retina Specialist

The Department of Surgery, Alberta Health Services – Calgary Zone, and the University of Calgary, is seeking a Locum for a Medical and Surgical Retina position. The locum would provide service coverage within a group practice from July 1, 2021 to Dec 31, 2021. Requirements include an MD, a fellowship in the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in Ophthalmology or an FRCSC equivalent, and retina fellowship training in medical and surgical retina (1 year minimum, 2 years preferred).

The Island Health Division of Ophthalmology has a position for a general ophthalmologist to join three others at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Eligible candidates will hold, or be eligible for, full FRCSC in ophthalmic surgery and full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C. Sub-specialty training would be an asset.
