We are currently recruiting for a full-time Ophthalmologist to join our outpatient surgery service. The preferred candidate will have independent practice license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and a fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Additional subspecialty training in cornea or glaucoma is an asset.
The individual will be practicing as a part of a group of four ophthalmologists providing services at the Brantford General Hospital site and with an office in the Brantford/Brant County community. Target start date is Fall 2026. The individual will be practicing as a part of collegial and supportive group of surgeons. We value individuals with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills, and a dedication to service excellence. Individuals who are strong team players and able to work effectively with other professional staff, nursing, allied health and leaders with a commitment to continued medical education.
