Job Summary

The Institute of Medical Retina of Montreal is open as a practice location for fellowship-trained posterior segment specialists. A minimum of a one-year fellowship in medical retina, vitreo-retinal surgery, ocular oncology, ocular genetics or uveitis is required. This opportunity maybe desirable for new graduates seeking a supportive environment to build a private sub-specialty practice or for established practitioners keen to collaborate with the provision of retinal care within the Downtown/Montreal West/Westmount area. Applicants must be eligible for independent medical licensure with the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) .

Founded in November 2018, the Institute is a site of excellence in clinical care, research and education in medical retina in the province of Quebec. Located in downtown Montreal, the Institute benefits from state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, nursing coverage, and multi-disciplinary affiliations with both public and private provincial, national and international healthcare providers.
