The Opportunity
Visionary Eye Surgeons is seeking a motivated and skilled Ophthalmologist to join our premier surgical facility in the heart of downtown Edmonton for a 1-month locum. This role is ideal for an Ophthalmologist looking to integrate into a high-volume, established private practice with advanced technology with the immediate potential to stay on as a permanent Associate. You would have access to a highly trained team of ophthalmic assistants and technicians and experienced nurses. Our clinic and private Operating Room have state of the art equipment, and over 65,000 surgeries have been performed at our facility.
The position would be open to surgical days in the office approximately once a week with laser days and clinic 3.5 days a week. There is some sub-specialty work in cornea and retina, but it is not a requirement for the locum or the associate position.
Required: Medical Degree with Specialty in Ophthalmology, FRCSC certification, CPSA license
