Jackman Eye Institute is seeking a full‑time Ophthalmologist to join our growing, well‑established practice in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. We welcome applications from comprehensive ophthalmologists and fellowship‑trained subspecialists.
You will join a busy, modern clinic providing high‑quality medical and surgical eye care to patients from across the province. Our practice offers strong referral pathways, experienced clinical staff, advanced diagnostic equipment, and streamlined administrative support, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.
Clinical opportunities may include:
-Comprehensive ophthalmic assessments
-Cataract surgery and refractive lens procedures
-Management of glaucoma, retinal disease, cornea/external eye disease, and oculoplastics (based on interest and expertise)
-Emergency and urgent ophthalmic care
-Optional participation in teaching, research, or community outreach

Qualifications:
-MD with specialization in Ophthalmology
-Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
