Job Summary

Retina Surgical Associates is seeking a Medical or Surgical Retina Specialist for a 6 month
locum position. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the busiest retinal practices in
British Columbia, providing care to a diverse and complex patient population within a collegial
and high performing team. Although the position is primarily focused on medical retina,
applicants with surgical retina training may have surgical locum privileges and participate in the
on-call schedule rotation.
The successful candidate will assume care of a busy, high volume retinal practice involving the
diagnosis and management of complex retinal conditions. The position includes work across four
clinics in the Fraser Valley, all equipped with state of the art diagnostic technology. Procedures
include intravitreal injections, diode laser retinopexy, cryoretinopexy, and pneumatic retinopexy.
Applicants should have one year of fellowship training in Medical Retina or two year fellowship
training in Surgical Retina, FRCSC certification in good standing, and eligibility for licensure
with the CPSBC.
