Comprehensive cornea associate position in beautiful Kelowna. Free standing clinic houses its own cataract and laser suite, in addition to three full lanes, two pretesting lanes with pentacam(2) OPD III, autorefractors with subjective refraction, specular microscopy, Humphrey visual field, Iolmaster700 and cirrus 5000. Wavelight EX500 with topolyzer and Ziemer femtosecond lasers in house. Exceptionally well trained cohesive staff and reliable referral base. AI integrated EMR. Work involves private refractive cataract and ICL, corneal crosslinking with one day of surgery (DSAEK DMEK PK and cataracts) at Kelowna General Hospital for a successful candidate. Large volume of keratoconus patients. Kelowna General hospital has paediatric(1), oculoplastics(1), glaucoma(3), neuroophthalmology(1) and retina(3) subspecialties, with two more FTE’s to come. Kelowna is an outdoor paradise with watersports on lake Okanagan abundant golf and mountain biking with powder skiing at two local ski resorts. Excellent public and private schools along with UBC campus.
