Comprehensive ophthalmologist in private clinic with hospital privileges

We’re looking for a motivated, part-time or full-time comprehensive ophthalmologist to help us in delivering high-quality eye care in an underserved region of northwestern Quebec. The main bulk of practice will be at a well-organized, efficient private clinic with a young and dynamic team of nurses and a technician. The practice is mainly comprised of medical retina with high-load antiVEGF clinics, cataracts, and glaucoma.
The clinic is equipped with a Heidelberg spectralis-2 OCT with modules for macula, nerve, OCTA, multicolor imaging, and Haag-Streit visual field. We have an excellent collaboration with local optometrists. The position has the advantage of access to the local hospital operating room for cataract surgery, with a high load of premium lenses, different laser machines, cryotherapy, and fluorescein angiography. There is also the possibility of practicing glaucoma and oculoplastic surgeries if desired. In order to have operation room privileges, the candidate is expected to participate in CRDS referral bank and regional on-call list with 4 other ophthalmologists.
French language is a pre-requirement.
