Investment Committee
The goal of the Investment Committee is to oversee the investments/reserves of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society.
Investment Committee Objectives:
- Capital preservation: to preserve and, if possible, enhance the value of capital
- Minimizing risk: not to expose monetary investments to undue risk or permanent capital impairment
- Promote a policy of ethical investing
- Achievement of the highest investment return that can be obtained while minimizing risk to the Society
