The goal of the Investment Committee is to oversee the investments/reserves of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society.

Investment Committee Objectives: 

• Capital preservation: to preserve and, if possible, enhance the value of capital  
• Minimizing risk: not to expose monetary investments to undue risk or permanent capital impairment  
• Promote a policy of ethical investing  
• Achievement of the highest investment return that can be obtained while minimizing risk to the Society
