The Division of Ophthalmology, in conjunction with the Department of Surgery for the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services, is seeking and ophthalmologist with sub-specialty expertise in vitreo-retinal surgery to join our team in beautiful St. John’s, NL.
An equal share of dedicated retina operating time is available for the successful candidate (currently approx. 1.5 day/week) for retinal procedures, with additional time available after hours as needed. One half day per week is allocated in the NLHS Eye Clinic for minor procedures, lasers, and injections, etc. Establishing an outpatient private office is required, though some local clinics may have space to share if desired.
Providing on-call services is a requirement of this position. Affiliation with Memorial University of Newfoundland medical school is available.
