The CHEO Department of Ophthalmology is affiliated with CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute and the University of Ottawa. Together, we provide outstanding patient care, research, and medical education. The Department provides tertiary eye care to newborns, children and youth of the Ottawa area, as well as those from Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec, Nunavut and parts of Northern Ontario (population of approximately 1.8 million).
The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking an ophthalmologist specialized in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus. The ideal candidate will hold RCPSC certification in Ophthalmology, a minimum one-year postgraduate fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario and CMPA coverage.
