2016 CRS Meeting CPD Credits and Evaluation

CPD credits

The 2016 CRS meeting is an accredited group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and approved by the Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS). Physicians may claim a maximum of 15.5 credits.

The 2016 CRS meeting is co-developed with the CRS and the COS to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity and balance as per the RCPSC's accreditation guidelines.

Through an agreement between the RCPSC and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert MOC credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert MOC credit to AMA credit can be found at Earning credit for participation in international activities.

Physicians should only claim credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Evaluation

Evaluate the sessions you attend and claim your CPD credits online. Evaluation stations are available onsite in the Mali Foyer and online at http://crs2016.ca

How?

1. Login with the email address used during registration (if unknown, contact [email protected]).
2. Evaluate and claim credits for the sessions you attend.
3. After evaluating all of the attended sessions, download, print or email a copy of your certificate of attendance.
4. After March 31, 2016, login to MAINPORT to claim your credits from your holding area.

Evaluation is a required component the RCPSC's MOC program. Your feedback enables us to better understand your learning needs and plan for future educational opportunities. We appreciate the time you take to complete the evaluation for each session you attend.
