Objectives
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Better understand the importance of removing lens epithelial cells at the time of cataract surgery to reduce postoperative complications and improve refractive outcomes.
  • Discuss the ocular axes and their relevance to IOL positioning.
  • Describe how to center IOLs and to assess the accuracy of centration.
