Description
Clinical Update in Retina provides an opportunity for the general ophthalmologist to actively engage in a discussion of current issues and management in retinal diseases include age related macular degeneration, uveitis and diabetic retinopathy. The discussion topics encourage reflection on clinical knowledge, and on the ophthalmologist's role as a communicator and scholar.

Objectives
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • describe major retinal advances and changes in practice over the past year
  • integrate new clinical trial information into ophthalmic practice
  • identify persistent gaps in knowledge in the management of retinal disease
