At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe different lighting and examination techniques on a slit lamp.
  • Discuss issues that patients have had with drops or multiple drops and strategies to help patients get their medications correct.
  • Discuss the basics of B Scan exams.
  • Describe new tonometers and the differences between them.
  • Identify physician challenges with strabismus surgery.
  • Describe the function of a manual lensometer and discuss how it works.
