2004 - 2005 Board of Directors Installed

 

Sherif El-Defrawy was installed as COS President on Friday, June 18, 2004 at the
Annual Business Meeting held during the three-day conference at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, B.C. He succeeds Duncan Anderson who completed his two-year term of office. Members present also elected François Codère to a three-year term as Secretary to the Board. Dr Codère is from Montreal, and a Past-President of the Association des médecins ophtalmologistes du Québec. He succeeds Andrew Crichton who steps down from the Board after a three-year term of office. Members also elected Paul Rafuse as Treasurer for a three-year term of office. Dr. Rafuse, from Halifax, was the Chairman, Council on Continuing Professional Development for the past three years. This positon was filled by Guillermo Rocha who was elected to a three-year term of office.
