Susan Lindley Installed as President


Susan Lindley, MD,

Susan K. Lindley was installed as President of the Society at the 2000 Annual Meeting held in Whistler, British Columbia, taking over from Dan O’Brien, who completed his 2-year term. She brings to this position many years of experience in clinical and administrative ophthalmology. She was the Treasurer of the COS from 1995 to 1998 and has served on the Test Committee on Ophthalmology of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada since 1988. She has been on staff at the Montreal General Hospital since 1985, and clinical director from 1995 to 2000. She is a consultant to the Montreal Children’s Hospital and is a geographic full-time associate professor at McGill University, with a strong commitment to resident teaching. Her practise is comprehensive ophthalmology with an interest in ophthalmic ultrasound.
