Objectives
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Assess the evidence associating the ocular features of central corneal thickness, pseudoexfoliation, myopia, IOP fluctuation and optic disc hemorrhage with the development of glaucoma and its progression.
  • Apply major clinical studies in examining the role of family history in the development and progression of glaucoma.
  • Describe how diabetes might have both positive and negative influences on the development and progression of glaucoma.
