Objectives
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify ways to improve their surgical skills with respect to managing posterior capsule ruptures in cataract surgery.
  • Describe a new treatment for the management of uveitis.
  • Discuss key concepts of neonatal conjunctivitis.
  • Identify ocular and brain manifestations of acute hypertension.
  • Demonstrate increased knowledge of laser refractive cataract surgery.
  • Demonstrate increased knowledge of delayed versus acute-onset endophthalmitis following cataract surgery.
  • Describe neuroprotection in glaucoma.
