Horizon Health Network is currently seeking an Ophthalmologist to join a collegial group of 3 ophthalmologists in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
This is a full-time position requiring Royal College of Canada certification. The physician shall establish a comprehensive practice in ophthalmology providing both inpatient and outpatient services under the auspices of the Surgical Program and participate in the on-call rota (1 in 4) of the Department of Ophthalmology based at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

This is a well-established fee-for-service oculoplastic practice in a regional tertiary care centre with no other oculoplastic surgeon within 400 km. Required qualifications include B.C. licensure, CMPA coverage, Canadian ophthalmology specialty certification (FRCSC) and Oculoplastic Fellowship. The practice is currently focused on treatment of functional disorders in a new public facility providing ample operating time and diagnostic services in a dedicated eye centre.
