The Canadian Ophthalmology Society (COS) does all this and more — we aim to assure the provision of optimal eye care for all Canadians by promoting excellence in ophthalmology and by providing services to support our members in practice.

COS is an affiliate of the Canadian Medical Association and an accredited provider of Continuing Professional Development, as recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

COS has a celebrated history dating back to 1937 of serving Canadians and the professional vision care community, thanks in large part to our dedicated Board of Directors, Council and Committee Chairs, members, and staff team.
